Angry Birds Rio August Update – Airfield Chase Episode Released!

Angry Birds Rio has just today been updated with the new episode – Angry Birds Rio Airfield Chase. This new episode is now available on iOS and Android via Amazon App Store as well as now available in the iTunes App Store with more platforms coming online soon.
This Angry Birds Rio update takes place at the “Rio Airport” and is a sequel of the movie “Rio.” This new update has 15 new levels and consists of 7 hidden fruits throughout Chapter 9.

Google Buys Motorola Mobility for $12.5 Billion

Google just announced that it is acquiring Motorola Mobility. The search and online advertising company is buying the company for approximately $12.5 billion (or $40 per share), in cash. The price represents a premium of 63 percent to the closing price of Motorola Mobility shares last Friday. Google had about $39 billion in cash at last count.
In a blog post, Google co-founder and CEO Larry Page writes that Google has acquired Motorola not only because of its strength in Android smartphones and devices, but also for being a “market leader in the home devices and video solutions business.”

Apple sues Samsung for 'copying' the iPhone and iPad

Apple has filed a lawsuit against Samsung for "slavishly" copying iPhone and iPad designs in the Galaxy line of mobile phones and tablets. It was reported that the lawsuit was filed in US District Court in North Carolina for infringing number of Apple patents and trademarks. An Apple representative told Mobilized, "It's no coincidence that Samsung's latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad, from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging. This kind of blatant copying is wrong, and we need to protect Apple's intellectual property when companies steal our ideas."

Amazon Blaze : A dual core processor solar energy powered Android phone(To be launched))

Amazon is at it again. After introducing the Amazon App Store and its Amazon Cloud service, the retail giant looks set to release a dual-core Android smartphone with a massive 4.3-inch display, 5-megapixel camera and even a solar panel at the back. The Android smartphone is called the Blaze and AndroidPolice has managed to snag some exclusive shots of the good looking Android.Amazon is preparing to launch the smartphone by this summer. The Smartphone will be running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has its own UI called ‘Blaze UI’, which will be tightly integrated with Amazon’s many services including books, apps, music, and so on.

According to XDA Developers this is the final build that you receive via official channels, the ROM version is XXJVK and works on the international  Motorola Droid X, and Motorola Droid 2.

Amazon App Store For Android launched with 3800 Apps

Amazon has officially launched the Android Appstore, a potential iTunes equivalent for Android.The company–whose roots are in e-commerce and not mobile–aspires to merchandise and sell apps better than Google does on its own platform.And, potentially as well as Apple, which up until now has been the shining star in mobile.Beginning from 22nd march the Appstore is accessible online at amazon.com/appstore. Android owners will also be able to download a version of the store to their handset. The store will support hundreds of mobile operators and hardware manufacturers.
