First development milestone of Internet Explorer 10, IE 10 Platform Preview 1, is already available for download from Microsoft.
The new version of IE, now three weeks into development, builds on IE9 with native support for hardware acceleration and support for even more standards like CSS3 gradients and HTML 5, to enable fast and immersive Web experiences. Both CSS3 and HTML 5 allow for the creation of adaptable, customizable web pages packed with multimedia options, while hardware acceleration allow graphics on the Web to take advantage of the entire PC via the GPU. IE 10 also resizes Web pages depending on your window size, much like how mobile browsers will auto resize text to fit your screen.
