First development milestone of Internet Explorer 10, IE 10 Platform Preview 1, is already available for download from Microsoft.
The new version of IE, now three weeks into development, builds on IE9 with native support for hardware acceleration and support for even more standards like CSS3 gradients and HTML 5, to enable fast and immersive Web experiences. Both CSS3 and HTML 5 allow for the creation of adaptable, customizable web pages packed with multimedia options, while hardware acceleration allow graphics on the Web to take advantage of the entire PC via the GPU. IE 10 also resizes Web pages depending on your window size, much like how mobile browsers will auto resize text to fit your screen.

The Internet Explorer Platform Preview requires Windows 7 (x86 or x64). Windows Internet Explorer 8 or Windows Internet Explorer 9 and DirectX 2D must be installed on your system.
Download and install Internet Explorer 9 and DirectX 2D before installing Internet Explorer Platform Preview.
Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 1 gives an idea about what is to come in the future, but it is far from being a feature completed version of the browser – this extends to the fact that the program interface is not even complete yet. As with the IE9 platform previews, this version also does not have a UI and you can only open one website at a time.
