Hidden - A Mac theft recovery app for free

Hidden is an iMac or MacBook theft recovery app from Flipcode Ltd, that allows you to track your Mac’s location and provides you with photos using built-in iSight’s camera.
This service costs $20 for life time per laptop, but Flipcode is providing free Hidden licences as christmas gift until the 1st January 2011.
After installing ‘Hidden‘, it will silently run in the background and there will be no visible sign on the computer that the software is running until you look Activity Monitor. The only way to uninstall it is by deleting a file located at a secret location with the admin password.
When your Mac is lost, you have to visit hiddenapp.com, log in to your account, and then change the status of your computer from “not stolen” to “stolen.” Now the service looks for your Mac location, and through Wi-Fi geolocation it will display approximate location with Google map. Also it provides screenshot, photos of the thief from the iSight, the IP address,a traceroute and a ifconfig. The Hidden team will also help you work with the police when recovering your stolen computer.
