Acer Launches the Iconia Tab A500 and W500 Tablets in India

Yesterday, Acer launched the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and the Iconia Tab W500 in India. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is an Android tablet which runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb and the first Honeycomb tablet which has been officially launched in India. Acer Iconia W500 is a Windows 7 tablet and Both these tablets comes with a lot of power packed features and specifications so take a look of the specs of both these tablets.

Acer Iconia A500 Tablet

This is the first Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet to be officially available in India. Known as ‘The Entertainer‘. It retails for Rs. 27,900/- for the Android version which we think is reasonable.

Acer Iconia W500 Tablet

This is a Two in One Tablet cum Netbook. Its basically a 10.1 inch tablet with an attachable keyboard. It runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. It is similar to the A500 Tab but with a different OS. It has an MOP of Rs. 32,499/-.
