The torrent will download the ISO image of Windows 8 x64 which similar to those downloaded from private FTP server named “Microsoft Windows 8 (”Windows 8” 6.2.7959.0) (Enterprise) (m3)” in RAR archive format.
Do note that the Windows 8 x64 M3 Build 7959 is a server-version of Windows 8, which likely to be finalized as Windows Server 2012 (or 2011). Each version of Windows since Windows Vista is been forked to two versions, namely client and server editions when RTM. For example, Windows 7 has Windows 7 client and Windows Server 2008 R2 server. Likewise for Windows 8.
Windows 8 M3 Build 7959 can be activated with Windows Server 2008 R2 product keys.
So far the reports are that it’s quite a buggy build and not expected to entertain us with new hidden features, but it’s the only 64 bit edition at the moment. Apparently it doesn’t work with VMware either. There’s also been rumors running around the internet that Windows 8 build 7971 could be released fairly soon too, so we’ll keep our eyes open for that.
Keep in mind that toying with leaked releases is always fraught with danger, such as unstable and unfit for daily usage. Nevertheless, if you are really desperate to get a taste of Windows 8, I suggest you always try it on Virtual Machine such as VirtualBox. Windows 8 is expected to enter beta, possibly as soon as this fall, with OEM availability in late 2012 and possible retail availability in January 2013.
